Do's and Don'ts
Do follow the ethical guidelines. See this page.
Do keep the activities short and simple. You will not gain extra marks for having a complicated activity.
Don’t collect vast amounts of data. Using 10 participants for each activity would be enough.
Don’t attempt to produce a ‘perfect’ piece of research. Firstly there is no such thing and secondly evaluating the activities is a main part of the exam.
Do fill in an evaluation sheet. You can find the sheet here and should spend plenty of time on it. The sheet was designed by Fiona Lintern who is the principal examiner for this part of the course.
Do remember to take your Practical Work Folder into the exam.
Don’t write things in your Practical Work Folder that you are not allowed to.
