CORGI (The Council for Registered Gas Installers) is the UK watchdog responsible for protecting the public from unsafe gas installations and for ensuring that gas work is carried out safely and competently by registered gas installers  who carry the Corgi logo. 

All businesses that undertake any work relating to gas installations must by law be registered with CORGI. 
 

To obtain CORGI registration, gas workers have to pass a rigorous assessment programme and undergo regular inspections. 
 

Failure to comply with the code of practice leads to de–registration. 
 

• Repairs to all types of boilers
• Leaking radiator repairs
  Repairing cylinder leaks
• Fixing faulty pilot lights
• Maintenance of all gas appliances
• Repairs to gas cookers and heaters
• Landlord safety certifications and PAT testing *
• Central heating installations and upgrades
   

* Landlords, Letting Agents and Housing Associations are legally required to ensure that each gas appliance receives an annual safety inspection and service check.
